Saint Patrick's Day 2013

This Saint Patrick's Day we celebrated back in my hometown at the Leavenworth County parade.  They do have one of the best parades in the KC area. I haven't been to many to compare but I have been to the big one in KC and it's definitely more kid-friendly in LV!  It was fun but it was COLD...as you can see from the pics below.  But the kids were happy cuz they got candy and they saw green dogs...and that's all that matters!

And there is an explanation for my attire.  I didn't walk out of the house like that...sorta.  See Tyler didn't want to wear her hat and once she put it on my head, I realize that it was warmer with it on so it stayed there. The necklaces were meant to be for the the kiddos but since I couldn't get them untangled...there they stayed.

We met up with my aunt and uncle at the parade and saw a few friends from high school!
