ORLANDO DAY 4

Today is our last day at Disney World...boooooo!  At least today there is no chance of rain...yaaaaay!  Our first stop was the Main Street Theatre to see Mickey Mouse because you can't go to Disney World without seeing Mickey Mouse.  We waited about 30 minutes but it was worth it.

After Mickey, we headed towards Adventureland and Frontierland. We wanted to meet the fairies but it was a 45 minute wait so we decided to jump on the rides first. We strolled through the Swiss Family Treehouse.
After the Pirates of the Caribbean, the girls bought some hair extensions...
Then we grabbed fast pass tickets for Splash Mountain and went to stand in line for 1 hour to see Woody & Jessie. Well, as you can tell from the picture that Woody is not there because he had to go feed Bullseye when we were 2 people from the front of the line. I'll have to say, next to Buzz, Woody was at the top of his "must see" list.  Zakk was ok with not seeing Woody, that is until we were about to leave the park at the end of the day. We're walking out and he looks up with this incredibly sad look on his face and says, "I not see Woody." I was heartbroken and almost moved to go back and wait in line for I'm sure about 2 hours now but we were on a time crunch to go watch the light show at Epcot and we were all hungry again. So we'll have to see Woody on our next trip to Disney!
While Tyler, Logan and I were riding Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad, Zakk finished off our Mickey ice cream!
As we were going to ride Splash Mountain, the girls and I met a worker who let us in the fast pass lane early because he lived in Olathe....It's A Small World After All...I had to say it!

After Adventureland and Frontierland we headed back over to the race cars. My girls are definitely going through drivers ed!  Although I'm sure they are better than I was back then!

On our way out of the park we stopped to see the princesses and then took the monorail to Epcot to eat and see the light show.
 Rapunzel...
Princess Aurora (sleeping beauty)...
And of course Cinderella! I tried really hard to have Zakk give them a kiss but the idea of it made him mad so I ditched that idea.

At Epcot our first stop was Spaceship Earth and then we were so hungry that this was the only ride we were able to ride before the light show.  The ride was really fun and I don't remember this one from when I was little but it took us on a journey about how the earth and technology and communication began. At the end of the ride, they showed these pictures with our heads put into spaceship poses. It was a funny ending!

The girls used their gift cards to make these purchases below. They thought long and hard about what they wanted and this is what they chose (although I did try to talk Logi out of a $20 spray bottle, she did have a lot of fun with it)!  Next time...bring our own!

While we were in Epcot, we ate German Meatloaf and Potato Pancakes in Germany, Chirashi Hanazushi in Japan and Crepes and Ice Cream in France. It was all so yummy!

While we walked around, we picked up a Special Agent Perry the Platypus solve the mystery phone that kept the kiddos busy. They had to walk around and solve mystery's in each country (we actually only stopped in China and France because we didn't have time to stop at all of them) and when they pointed their phone at it, it either moved or lit up.  The gong sounded in China and books came out of a window display in France. At one place Tyler got a free penny...you know,  out of those machines that smash the pennies. She had to ask the cashier some crazy question like, "I need a penny for the mouseatinator." But she was to shy so we used our own penny. Once we put our penny in, it magically made it on it's own without having to put any money (because you normally have to put in like 50 cents) in it and it had Perry on it which was not even one of the options on the machine...ooooh!
Then we wrapped up the evening with the spectacular light show at Epcot! We didn't get to see this on our 2008 trip so we definitely wanted to see it this time.  It wasn't as amazing as I remember it when I was a kid but it was still pretty cool and the kids thought it was amazing and building amazing memories is what's important! I'm just happy to be here with my family!
