TYLER TURNS 10!!!

I cannot believe it, Tyler actually finally turned 10. I guess I have to live up to all those promises for things that I told her that she couldn't have until she turned 10 and in Middle School. They have both officially happened...YIKES!

So yes, we broke down and got Tyler her own cell phone which she has been begging for since 2nd grade.  And I must say, she's got a nicer one than I had up until last year!  She was pretty excited about it, although it doesn't show much in the picture. We took her out to eat at Kyoto's which is our favorite Japanese Steakhouse. Tyler is a pro at catching shrimp in her mouth and this trip was Logan's very first time to ever catch one!

We brought Tyler her present in and while she was opening it, Kevin called her on it.  Although she didn't scream like I expected her to, she reacted just like Tyler would...cool, calm and HAPPY!

You can see from the picture above that she already has gotten lots of use out of her fingerprinted phone!  So since Tyler got a phone for her birthday, she didn't get to much else from her mom and dad.

She did manage to sneak away with a Pioneer Jaguars T-Shirt, a purse to hold her cell phone, some duct tape for her duct tape pens and a Math Enrichment Book (sounds like work but that's right up Tyler's alley). And Logan got her an ice cream best friends necklace!
