The Ringels: Sadie Jo Turns the BIG O-N-E!

I'm back to my old habits and posting way later than I should but since school has started it seems like everything has been kicking into super busy mode! The sad part is that I haven't had time to plan any super big birthday parties for the kiddos this year. So we decided to bombard Sadie's birthday and celebrate together!

Sadie was so funny with her birthday cake. She definitely didn't like the frosting on her fingers...that is until she got a taste of it! She put a pretty good dent in it and then threw it on the floor when she was finished!!!

Sadie did not want her birthday hat on so dad snuck up behind her and held it up long enough just to snap this picture and then he was caught red handed!!

So the plan was to go swimming this day but Mother Nature decided to let the flood gates open and rain on our parade but that didn't stop the kiddos from having fun...and we did NEED the rain!

And how can we forget presents...

Sadie already has the hang of it!

Zakk got some cool Cars stuff and a REALLY cool remote control Land Rover. After we got home and got it all charged up. Zakk and daddy took it for a spin in the cul-de-sac. Zakk was laughing so hard and I thought he was going to get run over a couple of times.

Since Zakk and Grandma Bertie are puzzle buddies, she got him a couple of puzzles for his birthday. I must say he already has them mastered!!

Tyler got some really cool stuff to...like the new Monster Legos!

And I'd like to forget the cupcakes because I had made them all the day before and frosted them before we went to bed. Then I woke up to all the frosting melted off. So off to grocery store for new frosting and whaa laa. They still tasted good but they were sticky!
