My Happy Mother's Day

I shared this Mother's Day with my 3 kiddos and wonderful husband!

They gave me my presents that they made me from school a little early because they couldn't wait!

Logan made this card that spelled my name...T-thankful, O-outstanding, M-maners, M-marfalise, I-incretable!!

Tyler's watercolor flowers were so cute.  It was funny because she was trying to explain why they didn't look like actual flowers (I could totally tell they were flowers when I saw it).  She said her teacher told her to just put circles and they're supposed to look like flowers.  Teaching my daughter to be an artist.  In Tyler's newspaper flower pot are marigolds that will be growing!

And my wonderful husband gave me the flower bouquet!
For my special day, I got to go to Fritz's and Science City!
At Fritz's they have trains everywhere and they also delivered your food on a train.  Zakk was in heaven.  He was so busy looking at all the trains, I don't think he ate any of his food!
After lunch we walked back over to Union Station to go to Science City and they had a temporary model train exhibit so we went in to look at that and Zakk was going crazy watching the trains.  It was funny watching him run back and forth watching the trains go in and out of the tunnels.  It's also funny that I don't remember the girls going this crazy over trains...must be one of those boy things!

Then on to Science City.  Even though it was Mother's Day, it was surprisingly slow at Science City.  Although, it's probably not mom's favorite place to go.  We had free tickets and a free day to spend with the family so here we are.

Science City is actually a really cool and interesting place.  Kids (and parents) can learn a lot if they take the time to go through everything.  We all had our turn trying to land a Spaceship.  Kevin was the only one who could do it successfully.  We looked at hair samples in the Crime Lab, dug for dinosaur bones, went bird watching, looked at the planets in the Planetarium, and much more!

This is the kiddos sliding down the sewer drain...
So here you were supposed to see how the many different size and weight balls would float on this but my kids thought it was more fun to stick their faces in it!

This was one of the play tunnels.  If you look hard, you can see everyone but me of course.  There's tyler, logan, daddy (yes, daddy barely fit in there) and zakk!
It was a WONDERFUL Mother's Day!
