Boulevard Chocolate Ale

Later this past week, the Boulevard Chocolate Ale went on sale!  It's a once a year thing and they are limited in quantities so it doesn't stay in the stores long.

Last year they were selling it on Ebay for $100 a bottle...yikes!  They are the bigger bottles but still, $100??  I can't believe I did this but I actually stood in line before the liquor store opened so that I could get Kevin a couple bottles...at $10 a bottle! 

So that evening we enjoyed Chocolate Ale and Cheese Fondue.  

The verdict...I surprisingly liked it but Kevin wasn't to impressed.  Chocolate beer must be a girl thing.  Who'd a guessed it.  I surely wouldn't pay $100 for a bottle though!
