I bought a Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade magazine last week and found this quote in it. I love this quote because it is so true. Not to much ever turns out the way you expect it to.
Then three days later, I was on my way to pick Logan up from Girl Scouts and someone pulled out in front of me and I crashed right into him. Just a little fender bender but frustrating just the same. See my trailblazer is not worth much anymore and we were hoping to get a few more years out of it.
The good thing is that none of the kids were with me which NEVER happens!
Turns out the damage was just over $5,000 but the insurance company agreed to fix it...YAY! So as of now, poor Kevin is driving my van to work and we have to pay our deductible and wait to see if the other guys insurance company will pay it back.

Now I pass my Quote of the Week on to my parents who called me last night to tell me that the entire field behind their house from the barn to the road was on fire! The fire department came and put it all out before it spread to the houses...thankfully it didn't spread to any of the houses!
I'm not too superstitious but I'm sure glad Friday the 13th week is over! WOW!
Wow!! Your poor car..... very glad to hear it wasn't totalled, and of course blessed that the kids weren't with you! Hope the other insurance takes fault....we are still hoping it happens from our Sept accident!
