Saturday morning we set off for our longest family vacation with all three kiddos! We headed toward Chicago and stopped off at our friends Richard & Sonya's and their kiddos, RD & Alexa. They were so sweet to share their home with us for the evening. The kids swam in their pool and then afterwards we roasted smores on the fire pit!
On Sunday, we headed straight to IKEA...yay! It was fun but I didn't get much because we didn't have much space in the trailblazer after the stroller, 3 suitcases, a cooler, a pack-n-play, 2 laptops and a big bag of snacks...and that was only in the back of the car!
After IKEA we headed to Chicago and tried to stop at The Aquarium but the wait to get inside was 1 1/2 to 2 hours...yikes. Instead the kids decided to go to The Field Museum. Not quite as exciting as the aquarium but it was educational! The kids had fun pretending that all the displays came to life at night!

That night we ate at our favorite restaurant, Rock Bottom Brewery, and Logan got to make her own pizza!
