The kiddos are back in school so I finally have time to finish the rest of my summertime blogging! This fourth of July was pretty low key. First we went to Worlds of Fun with the cousins...
And then we celebrated with the usual family and friends at our house. Grandma and grandpa brought the fireworks...or little ones anyways since we're not supposed to have them in Gardner. Zakk thought they were pretty cool.
Ha ha...this picture cracks me up! I love the expression on our faces. I have no idea what we were talking about. If I wasn't so tired, I could have some caption fun with this. Anyone have any ideas?
This is grandma saying, "She gets that from you!" Cuz we all know that Sidney gets her craziness from her dad. Although I have heard stories about her mom so it's a toss up!
Zakk's sparkler sword. So I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought I'd try it. I wish someone came up with this idea when I was little. Maybe I wouldn't be so terrified of fireworks.
After we ate and shot off fireworks, we jumped in the back of the truck drove around to the back of our subdivision because we had the perfect shot of the fireworks show at Celebration Park...well, almost perfect! Maybe we'll move over next year!
Nobody was blown up or scratched or even burned so it was definitely a good 4th of July!
Later in the week, they kiddos took a trip to grandma and grandpas for a couple days and it looks like they had a blast with the slide, at the park, fishing and lighting fireworks.
Are these sparklers or are my parents letting my kids play with blow torches. Those flames are gigantic! Maybe I spoke to soon about nobody getting hurt.
